Advanced Diagnostic & Treatment Procedures Performed by a Leading Specialist in Male & Female Urology

Our Model

Urology focuses on the conditions affecting the male and female urinary-tract system and the male reproductive organs.

Such conditions include: urinary-tract infections, prostatic hyperplasia, bladder and prostate cancer, kidney stones, congenital abnormalities and stress incontinence.

Euracare’s Consultant Urological Surgeon Dr Leye Ajayi offers a comprehensive array of the most advanced diagnostic procedures, notably clinical laboratory tests, Uroflowmtery studies, prostate biopsy and endoscopy. Dr Ajayi is expert in all aspects of urology in particular prostate (TURP), Ureteroscopy & kidney stone laser treatment, and bladder assessment and has a specialist interest in kidney stone disease and runs International Masterclass in complex stone treatment.

Dr Leye Ajayi performs endoscopic procedures using the latest Olympus Exera III video system in combination with the URF-V E PAL flexible Ureterscope (for examination of the upper urinary tract) and Cystoscope (for examination of the bladder). This allows him to conduct a thorough examination of the patient’s anatomy without the need for an incision. The endoscopy system is linked to an endobase documentation and reporting system to eliminate inefficiencies and improve accuracy & traceability. The system also allows for the procedure to be recorded and for the patient to receive a copy.

In conjunction with Euracare’s team of Nigerian and internationally-trained nurses and radiology & laboratory technicians, the specialists ensure that patients are kept safe and comfortable at all times during the procedures.

Special attention is given to infection control. The endoscopy suite is equipped with a state of the art TD – 20 disinfector to ensure sterilization is conducted according to international norms and standards. As a further safety measure, all instrumentation used is disposable.
