Euracare has partnered with Pediatric Partners Hospital, a leading specialty clinic in VI, Lagos, to offer weekly consultations by US-trained paediatrician Dr Atinuke Uwajeh.

Dr Uwajeh is a senior pediatrician at Pediatric Partners Hospital and provides weekly consultations at Euracare. She completed her medical training at the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital in Ile-Ife.  Her paediatric residency training was at the Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C.. She went on to complete a year of fellowship in paediatric Emergency Medicine at the University Of Chicago Children’s Hospital. She practiced at various hospitals and clinics in the United States, her last position being that of Attending Physician with Advocate Medical Group. Since her return to Nigeria, she has been working with Paediatric Partners Hospital, a leading specialist clinic in VI, Lagos.  She is board-certified in paediatrics by the American Board of Paediatrics and is certified in Paediatrics Advanced Life Support.

For both non-invasive and interventional paediatric cardiac care, Euracare’s patients can trust in the skill and experience of Medical Director Dr Tosin Majekodunmi, a UK/Canada-trained adult & paediatric interventional cardiologist.

Dr Tosin Majekodunmi – BSc (Hons), Ph.D., MBBS, MRCP (London) is Euracare Nigeria’s Medical Director & Chief of Cardiology. A dual Nigerian/British national, he is an interventional cardiologist with specialization in both adult (Royal Brompton Hospital, Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospital London, UK and Toronto General Hospital, Toronto, Canada) and paediatric (Great Ormond Street Hospital, London, UK) congenital & structural heart disease.
Determined to contribute to the improvement of healthcare in his native Nigeria, he served as Tristate Cardiovascular Associates’ Chief of Structural Heart Disease from 2013 until joining Euracare in 2016.
