4 Internationally and Locally Trained Family Medicine Practitioners
Instead of being limited to a particular organ, disease, patient gender or age, General Practice adopts a holistic, integrated approach by addressing both the whole patient and all patients.
General Practitioners (GPs) receive training in all major medical areas, including pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine, psychiatry and neurology, surgery, and community medicine. They also receive instruction in many other areas including geriatrics, emergency medicine, ophthalmology, radiology, orthopedics, otolaryngology, and urology.
This makes them the ideal first physicians of contact for any patient.
It also makes them highly qualified in referring patients to the appropriate specialists when their conditions goes beyond the scope of General Practice.
Euracare’s 2 full-time GPs are Dr Larry Emeri and Dr Mark-Usoh Ogechukwu. They work closely with Euracare’s expert medical team and consulting specialists to offer patients a world-class standard of care.
